Vatan Niro Jonub Co.

Vatan Niro Jonub Co. (VTN) was founded in 2000 to conduct manufacturing, contracting, and commercial operations within Iran’s electrical power industry. Since then, the company has introduced itself as one of the powerhouse manufacturers in the aforementioned industrial field.
VTN initiated the founding of a production plant for manufacturing hot-dipped galvanized high-carbon steel wire in 2012 to help the growth of domestic production, promote self-sufficiency, and develop Iran’s steel cable and wire industry. Despite the unique manufacturing conditions, the company successfully constructed the factory in an area of 5 acres for the production of both black annealed and hot-dipped galvanized high-carbon steel wire.

The company currently uses state-of-the-art machinery to manufacture hot-dipped galvanized steel wire in various diameters that are used as the core and the inner armor of aluminum conductor steel-reinforced (ACSR) cables. Through utilizing domestic knowledge and competence, VTN has also extended its range of products by adding various galvanized and black annealed steel derivatives-including low-carbon wire and spring wire–that are compatible with international standards.

The company’s products can be divided into three categories of high carbon galvanized steel wire (ACSR core), spring wire, and hot-dipped galvanized steel wire.

ACSR Core

High carbon steel wires with thick galvanized coating are used in the electrical power industry as the cores of aluminum conductor steel-reinforced (ACSR) cables, inner armor in aerial bundled conductors, and sheath for transmission and telecommunication lines due to their high rigidity and resistance against corrosion. This product can be used in single-wire or stranded string configurations.

Spring Wire

Spring wire is among high-carbon steel products. Generally, spring wire is also known as high carbon spring wire, vanadium spring steel, and chromium spring steel. Various types of tensile, compression, and torsion springs made with spring steel are used in the car, rail, military, home furniture, and agricultural machinery industries.

Hot-Dipped Galvanized Steel Wire

After being cleaned, cold-drawn, and reaching the desired diameter, the steel wire is put through the annealing process and is divided into A, B, C, and D categories based on the international steel coating classifications. The measuring unit for coating classification is based on grams per square meter, which shows the amount of galvanized coating ranging from the thickest to the thinnest. The galvanized steel wires are used in various applications including fences, mesh, barbed wire, etc.

Our company is proud to have received awards and certificates from the outset of its operation from credible organizations. These awards include Hormozgan Electric Distribution Company’s award for the best company in the province, a certificate from the administrator of Saderat Bank’s Isfahan branch, along with a certificate of confirmation from the Ministry of Energy to manufacture thick-coated high-carbon galvanized steel wire used in a variety of aluminum conductor steel-reinforced cables. Moreover, through our membership in the Iran Wire and Cable Manufacturer's Association as of 2022, we are proud to have a greater and more expansive role in supplying Iran’s wire and cable industry.
